#1235 closed defect (fixed)

New timezone isn't displayed until you quit and reenter the date/time settings

Reported by: pipatron Owned by: dos
Priority: minor Milestone:
Component: shr-settings Version: SHR-unstable

Description

When selecting a new timezone in the date/time settings, the timezone you pick from the looong list is not updated until you quit and reenter the date/time settings. This is very confusing because the user believes that something went wrong, and have to try again, to no avail.

Hi,

the attached file shr_timezone.py fixes this. Just overwrite your copy of /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/shr_settings_modules/shr_timezone.py with it, and it will update the label after you changed the timezone.
