#1099 closed defect (fixed)

Wakeup from Suspend needs does not work with a single power button press

Reported by: robin Owned by: ainulindale
Priority: critical Milestone:
Component: SHR Image Version: SHR-unstable
Keywords: Cc:

Before one needed to press the power button once to get the phone back up, now pressing it once causes some lines of code to appear on the black screen before it goes black again. Pressing the power button again finally wakes the phone up.

  • Priority changed from major to critical

Bad thing about this is, that this also happens on an incomming message or call: Message comes in, the FR wakes up and starts playing the message ring tone and suspend while doing so.

I have this problem, but the second press of the power button returns to he wrong VT. Experimentation has shown that Xorg is running on VT 2 but on the second attempt to resume it returns to VT 8, showing only a flashing text mode cursor.

SSH in and executing "chvt 2" returns to Xorg successfully.

With latest SHR-U updates I no longer have this problem. Freerunner is resuming from suspend correctly upon a single power-button press.
